Jennifer Barón is an independent singer and composer. Her music is made up of an array of eclectic songs embodying a spontaneous fusion of indie, rock and vocal music fuelled by Latin-American rhythms.
Born and raised in Buenos Aires. She pursues her studies in the Music Conservatory and after exploring several music styles, Jennifer travels to New York. Inspired by her life in the “Big Apple” she starts composing her first original songs and starts her solo project. In 2012 she records her first EP of original songs called “Alpha”, which she presents at a live show in Casa Mezcal in NYC.
The following year 2013, she comes back to Buenos Aires and decides to continue her career in the city of her birth and together with her band she performs frequently in pubs and theaters in Buenos Aires.
In 2015 Jennifer forms the group Ninja, a parallel project in which she participates actively to this date.
In 2016, Jennifer releases her second solo album “Pájaros Negros” (recorded and mixed in Vuela Ñandú studio).
Pájaros Negros received a subsidy from INAMU for mastering. A crowdfunding campaign in which many people collaborated made possible the edition of the album.
